Cleveland Students earned 5,000 Cub Coins before break. We celebrated with hot chocolate for each class and a holiday story read by Dr. Stefani.

Students at Cleveland eagerly anticipate celebrating their birthdays. Administrators personally deliver a card and take the time to talk with each child about their plans for the special day. It’s a joy to see their smiles and the excitement of their classmates as they join in recognizing the occasion.


Students in 501 played a game to help them better understand the Westward expansion in Social Studies.

Cleveland Staff started early this morning with a Turkey Trot in the gym. What a great way to get the day started.

This is a fundraiser for the PTA. Each SMENCIL is $2.00.

Thank you to Sioux Falls Sports Authority for providing the opportunity for 5th grade students at Cleveland to attend the Curling Olympic Trials yesterday! It was a great experience and provided new learning for a sport that many were not familiar with.

First graders at Cleveland have been working hard on models of ocean animals and how they protect themselves from predators. They had an Open House today for other classrooms to visit!



Cleveland Cubs far surpassed their PBIS goal of earning 3,000 Cub Coins for showing ROARing behavior throughout the month of October! They celebrated by Silly Stringing the teachers!!



REMINDER: Tomorrow morning, October 31st, beginning at 7:15, Cleveland will be hosting their Title 1 Breakfast. Please plan to join us and learn more about what makes Cleveland a great place to be.

We will be serving egg bake, fresh fruit, muffins, coffee and juice. Learn all about the many supports Cleveland Students have by being a part of a Title 1 school.
Students have earned 6,142 Cub Coins! We exceeded our October goal of 4,000! This week we will be having an assembly to recognize students that have been in school 94% or more during 1st quarter (275 students). We will also recognize our ROARing students for the month of October. At the end, something "silly" will happen to celebrate meeting our Cub Coin goal!
Lastly, students will have a Fall Party in their classroom. Students may dress up as their favorite book character on Friday, October 31st. REMINDER: The costume must be school appropriate-no masks, weapons or gory face paint.
