We are so excited to announce our 5th Grade Leadership Team, made up of 12 outstanding cubs! 💙 These cubs completed an application and participated in an interview to earn their spot on the team. 👏
Throughout the year, our leaders will help plan and promote dress-up days, participate in community service projects, work with younger students, and help make our school a welcoming place by giving tours and greeting visitors with a big smile! 😊🏫
We are so proud of these students for stepping up, showing leadership, and being willing to make a difference in our school community! 🌟 We can't wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish this year! 💫

⭐Teacher Spotlight! ⭐
Mrs. Hoier teaches first grade at Cleveland! She has taught here for 13 years. Our students and staff are so lucky to work with her!
Mrs. Hoier spent some time in Utah this summer and is looking forward to another trip to Salem, MA. 🗺️📍
Mrs. Hoier thinks the best part about being a teacher is getting to watch the students grow and become successful over the year. 🎯
Thanks for all you do! 💙
We are so grateful to have partners in our community who want to help connect, teach, and care about our students!

The buddy bench is used for cubs who are looking for someone to play with at recess! They can sit on the bench, other cubs will see them, and join them on the bench or ask them to play! We are so excited to see our cubs using the bench and making others feel included. 🫂
Our cubs are awesome! 🧡💙

Our community shows up BIG! 💙🧡
We are incredibly grateful for the community partners who continue to show just how much Sioux Falls cares about Cleveland!
🎒 Giving Hope Bingo delivered more than 1,700 school supply items to help ensure our Cubs have the tools they need to learn and succeed.
🥫 Hungry Hearts stopped by with a trailer full of food and clothing, helping us care for our students and families beyond the classroom.
💙 Your Best Address thoughtfully created sensory bags to help our students regulate, reset, and be ready to learn.
School is about so much more than what happens inside our walls—and we are fortunate to be surrounded by a community that believes in our kids and shows that support in such meaningful ways.
Thank you for caring for our Cleveland Cubs! 🐯

Shout out to our ROARing 5th graders! ✨
They are being Role Models by helping our kindergarten class go through the breakfast line and build relationships! We are so glad to have leaders like them in our building! #ClevelandCubs #OurKidsOurFuture
What a way to kick off the year! 💙🧡🐯
Our first few days back were filled with reconnecting, laughter, creating team commitments, and a little friendly competition! We loved having our friends from Discovery Elementary join us for the fun. 🚀
And we even had a couple of surprise visitors! 👀 Courage and Astro made an appearance — with Assistant Superintendents Dr. Zeeck and Mr. Conrad behind the mascots! 🐯🚀
A great start with great people, and we’re ready for the path ahead! 🧭✨
